- Last week Jon Haeber featured a group of San Francisco Bay Area photographers on his Bearings blog, including some close friends, and yours truly. A few days later he added an interesting new article about the history of the sugar beet industry in Colorado. Put this guy in your RSS reader already.
- Tim Atherton reports on a Lynne Cohen exhibit in New York including some wonderful photos. Cohen is one of my favorite photographers — her essential book Occupied Territory is out of print, but usually available used for $15-20.
- Amy Stein’s Battle Photo feature is always fun — last week was Sternfeld vs. Crewdson. I voted for Sternfeld.
- Michael Reichmann has a first look at a pre-production Canon 1DS MkIII over on the Luminous Landscape, and Rob Galbraith reports that a hardware-based autofocus fix will soon be available for the Canon 1D MkIII. Whatever…I’m going back to shooting film.
