    1. Andy Frazer:

Thanks for pointing out the story about the Iwahashi flower store. It’s amazing how much Internment Camp-era history we’re losing each year in the Bay Area.

      Chimping.

Hi Andy – The interesting thing about this story is the usually overzealous landmarks folks didn’t do their research in time. But if you look at what’s left of the building, there’s not much to save. I have mixed feelings.

Hi Troy – Yes, who says chimpin’ ain’t easy?

    4. Mark Hobson:

are you ‘lomo-izing’ in a manner like I am ‘holga-izing’?

    5. joe:

Hi Mark – The photo in this post was taken by a friend who is indeed lomo-izing like you’re holga-izing. Seems to be working well for him. I like the indeterminancy of shooting with an actual Holga, but reducing my film/processing costs might motivate me to try more holga-izing next year. We’ll see.

Update – I went to photograph the Auto California/Iwashi Flower Store building down the street yesterday but it had already been completely bulldozed when I got there!
