Thunderbird, high desert salvage yard — by Joe Reifer

I’ve just returned from another full moon trip to the Mojave Desert salvage yard where I photographed last month. The sky was slightly hazy but clear, and some nice clouds blew through towards the end of the the second night. The temperature was close to 90 degrees at night, cooling down to 84 degrees by 4 a.m. — did you know that Tom and Jerry are on Cartoon Network at 4:30 a.m.? Neither did I until this weekend.
