I’m testing the new Lensbaby Composer, and did some shooting with the zone plate optic on a full moon night tour of Alcatraz. I’ll be doing more shooting with the Lensbaby with all of the different available lenses in the optic swap system, and writing a detailed review.  I can already tell that the zone plate is going to be a favorite. Three images from tonight’s Alcatraz shoot below. The first two images were shot using a tripod, and the third was handheld at ISO 1600. The zone plate has an aperture of f/19.
