Albany Bulb, full moon, 7 minute exposure.

The Pearsonville Night Photography and Light Painting Workshop is only a month away. Join us for this adventure in the Mojave Desert under the full moon. Seven hours of shooting each night — hundreds of amazing 50′s, 60′s, and 70′s American cars and an abandoned dirt track await you under the moonlight. There is one spot left! Contact me if you’d like to sign up or have any questions. Here’s the official workshop information page:

Update: The workshop is full, but please contact me if you’d like to be on the waiting list!

  1. I had to Google Albany Bulb to figure that one out :-) Looks like a very interesting place. I’ve enjoyed your series of photos from Albany Bulb so far. This ghost looks pretty good – you don’t see the cheesey eye holes and the slight double-blur is cool. What’s up with the mysterious red dot in the left-hand tree? (The Orbs! The Orbs are coming!!! :-)

I’m glad to see you’re doing another workshop. I’d really love to go, but just can’t make it work with the family plans already made. Good luck to y’all!

  2. The double blur on the ghost worked out well. The red dot is from a distant radio tower. Or maybe it is an Orb. It’s probably an Orb. :)
I’m looking forward to getting back out to the junkyard next month for the workshop!
