Today was the Citywide Garage Sale in Albany, CA. We decided that this event would be the perfect occasion to begin a project to walk every street in Albany. We saw a lot of junk for sale during a 4-hour walk that covered the area East of San Pablo Avenue, and North of Solano Ave. We’re now about 25-30% of the way done, but there’s no hurry. Walking Berkeley took 2 years, and walking Albany will be done at a leisurely pace this Summer.
- We embarked on a project to walk every street in Albany, CA.
- Today was the Albany Citywide Garage Sale.
- I liked this one quite a bit.
- Although the stone facing was hard to resist.
- A girl told us that the local gun store had been held up at knife point.
- We heard a singing repair man.
- An old man who was gardening collapsed, and we made sure he was OK.
- Around the corner, the melancholy continued.
- We create little pockets of order — the illusion of control.
- Sometimes our dreams of control end up as monuments to chaos.
- Look at the trees. Look at the Skylark. Nature has no straight lines.
- Even as it all unravels there’s occasionally something of value.

Keep an eye out for the aliens near the other side of Solano and Ordway.
