Night Photography On Wolf Ridge
Wolf Ridge is a former Nike missile radar site in the Marin Headlands. Andy Frazer wrote an excellent knol guide to photographing this interesting site, which has continued to decay since I first photographed there in 2006. Images #11 and #12 on my main website are from this location, and #12 was taken before the tower collapsed. The images below are from the July full moon. Thanks to Steve and Mike for making the trip!

That flight path on #2 worked out nicely. I thought it was a big star trail at first.

Amazingly the flight path in shot #2 is actually 2 flight paths. Two 7 1/2 minute exposures were stacked for 15 minute star trails, and the flight path lines up almost perfectly.
