I usually curse the utility lines in my shots, but in this one it really completes the whole composition. And I love that little notch of the bright city just in front of the truck.

Andy – thanks! Utility lines are just part of the landscape. I learned to love them looking at R. Crumb’s drawings of urban areas. The geometry worked out really well here.
Amy – yeah, sometimes when I see an abandoned vehicle like this truck I think it looks like a movie set. And this location was a nice reminder that light pollution is fine, as long as it’s far away on the horizon.
