- Woke up this morning, and shot the cow on Highway 58.
- I’m guessing this vessel was named for Rodolfo Alfonso Raffaello Piero Filiberto Guglielmi.
- (This photo is a reference to work I did in the late 90′s).
- Italian Cypress.
- The S.S. Minow, parked at the bottom of the pass.
- In Boron, a liquor store.
- The Torches.
- And onward across 58.
- Later that day in Baker, a statue behind the pancake house.
- Tecopa cemetery.
- Honk if you need an RV dump. 10 bucks.
- Sun went down, moon went up.
- Three days later headed back home West on 58.
- Bakersfield.
- Famoso.
- Sunset, North on the Interstate.

Think that the 12 (sun went down, moon …) really stands out. Beatifull.
Thanks, Mauro!
Boron is such a cool place! I climbed up the rock facade and photographed this a few years ago.
Hey B – I remember that you climbed up to shoot this sign awhile back – cool to see the photo again!
Joe, where’s “The Torches?” I’ve got to put that on my bucket list!
The Torches is in Barstow, CA on the former Route 66 route. Here’s the Google Street View, or maybe you want to buy it?
