This photo was taken in an area that’s tricky to shoot because of spill from the sodium vapor street lighting. To give you a better idea of what happened in the light painting, below is an outtake from this setup where the trailer was lit by flashlight, but the foreground area with the rims was not:

  1. That’s different = good stuff. The clouds do make a difference, don’t they? How much light have you added to the foreground?

    • We were really lucky to have a night of clouds during both the March and April workshops. Definitely makes for dynamic images. Added an outtake above to show where the light painting happened.
