Death Valley Mine is the site of an abandoned silver and lead mine in the Mojave National Preserve that opened in 1906. This long exposure under an almost full moon shows an orange glow in the clouds from Primm, Nevada. See more night photos of the Mojave Preserve, along with 10 new night images from the abandoned waterslide park, and a Nevada junkyard called Howard's.
