Death Valley Mine is the site of an abandoned silver and lead mine in the Mojave National Preserve that opened in 1906. This long exposure under an almost full moon shows an orange glow in the clouds from Primm, Nevada. See more images from this location on my portfolio site, along with 10 new night images from the abandoned waterslide park, and a Nevada junkyard called Howard’s.

Joe, how do you find all those abandoned places? “Howard’s” gallery is nice:)
Web research, networking, books, Google Earth, maps, and driving around. Howard’s was found by driving around.
Joe, you’ve been busy. I really like the Rock-a-Hoola image.
