Elizalde Cement Company (haunted) — by Joe Reifer

Nine new night images from the abandoned Elizalde Cement Company near Beatty, Nevada are available on www.joereifer.com. The ghost image above is a combination of three exposures of the same subject: one had the best exposure for the foreground (4 minutes at f/9.5, ISO 200), another had the best looking sky (2 minutes at f/8, ISO 200), and the third image was for the ghost.

  Thanks, Seb. That’s one of my favorites, too. I used layer masks in Photoshop to blend exposures.
