: This versatile hand-made vehicle affectionately called sandbuggy or dune bug is now a prominent sign of help on the desert as well as for recreation.

: Tumbleweed Harris and his burro Lonesome John are seen coming through the desert after a search for rich ores of the desert.

: Typical prospectors with their laden burros may occasionally be seen on the California Deserts in and around Death Valley.
