If you’ve followed my neighborhood Holga work, you’ve probably noticed I’m drawn to yards with interesting plants and shrubs. I’ve been meaning to do some research on topiary in my area. I happened to watch the first season of Little Britain over the last few nights. Quite a funny show, and it features a running topiary gag. I paused the DVD a few times to take screenshots of the topiary. The next day I was given a map that has 3 topiary locations in Berkeley. The screenshots and results of today’s topiary scouting trip are below. I plan to go back soon and shoot the topiary at night.
