A Path of Practice

How do we live a meaningful life? What helps us become more fully ourselves? These questions have guided my journey—and are at the heart of my coaching.

Early Foundations
Playing music was my first creative practice, teaching me to listen deeply. My spiritual journey began with yoga in 1989, then deepened through Zen, Insight Meditation, and Aikido—learning that wisdom emerges through breath, body, and Presence.

Creativity as Practice
For fifteen years, photography was my primary interest—artistic expression, creative inquiry, and vocation. I learned how art opens us to mystery and joy. Through my own practice and through teaching others, I discovered that creativity comes through Presence. This remains central to how I work.

Professional Path
Throughout my career, I've been asking one question: How do we help people access what they need to learn, grow, and offer their deepest contribution?

As a librarian (1995-2006), I helped people find what they were seeking—a practice in listening and creating pathways to knowledge.

In project and product roles (2007-2017), I worked across startups and agencies, helping teams deliver delightful products for their customers.

Since 2018, I've coached teams and leaders at organizations from hypergrowth startups to Fortune 500 companies including Google and Edward Jones. Supporting hundreds of people navigating leadership transitions, team challenges, and organizational complexity, I kept encountering the same truth: who we’re being deeply informs what we’re capable of doing.

This led me to formal coaching training in 2018, where I immersed myself in depth psychology (Internal Family Systems, Focusing), somatic approaches (yoga nidra, The Realization Process), relational frameworks (Nonviolent Communication, ORSC), and developmental coaching (Aletheia Integral Unfoldment).

Approach

My path of practice shapes how I support others in discovering their wholeness. It’s what grounds my belief in the transformative power of coaching.

After decades of dedicated practice and exploring various embodiment, psychological, and spiritual methods, Aletheia Integral Unfoldment was the alchemy that unveiled a deep sense of wholeness, joy, and contentment. Letting go of self-improvement and learning the view of unfolding changed everything.

I've learned that this kind of transformation happens in relationship—through Presence, attunement, and skillful guidance. Coaching builds coherence across all of your streams of practice, and opens space for new, integrated ways of Being.

What this means for you
Whether you're navigating a career transition, working through relationship challenges, deepening your practice, or exploring questions of meaning and purpose, I will create space for your wisdom to emerge. I know how to sense when to offer structure and when to trust the unfolding. I understand the territory of transformation—the stuck places, the breakthroughs, the integration—because I've traveled these paths as both a seeker and a guide.

Whether you’ve been practicing for years or are just beginning to explore inner work, I’ll meet you where you are. Experienced meditators often find their practice unfolds in fresh ways. Those new to contemplative work discover a sense of ease, joy, and possibility.

My commitment is to be a steady, skilled companion on your journey—bringing Presence, expertise, and genuine care to our work together.
