An Embodied Path
Developed by Judith Blackstone, the Realization Process is an embodied approach to nondual awakening. Rather than transcending the body or quieting the mind through effort, we learn to inhabit the body so fully that a deeper dimension reveals itself—a subtle, pervasive stillness experienced as our own presence and as the seamless space connecting us and everything around us.
This stillness has never been injured. It doesn't need to be created or protected. As we attune to it, we discover an unshakeable ground—not apart from our thoughts, emotions, and sensations, but pervading them. Life moves through us more freely. We feel truly at home in ourselves, as our own unique expression of being, while also experiencing fundamental consciousness.
The Practices
The Realization Process includes three main bodies of work:
Nondual Meditation — We attune to fundamental consciousness, the luminous transparency that pervades our body and environment.
Embodiment and Movement — Inhabiting the internal space of the body. Cultivating qualities like power, love, voice, and understanding. The dance of stillness and movement.
Healing Ground — Releasing the constrictions and energetic holding patterns that we all develop in response to life's difficulties. These patterns live in the body, and they can unwind from within—gently, at their root.
I practice the Realization Process every day. These precise and profound attunements have transformed how I inhabit my own life, including how I show up in my work.
You don't need to currently have a meditation practice to work with me as a coach. If you do have some kind of mind-body practice—yoga, qigong, tai chi, Feldenkrais, or something else—you're already inhabiting the body. The Realization Process often opens access to more subtle dimensions of that embodiment.
For experienced meditators who sense they may have reached a plateau or a stuck place in their practice, the Realization Process offers a special kind of alchemy that can open something new.
Foundational Grounding
A guided Realization Process grounding meditation:
Working Together
For those drawn to this path, I offer individual sessions in the Realization Process—personalized guidance adapted to what's unfolding for you. This work can stand alone or as a complement to coaching. Many clients find that their meditation practice supports what surfaces in coaching, and that coaching deepens their meditation practice.
